Online Overlord

The music industry is a monster and it’s starting to change its ways. With the online world becoming smaller and more interconnected via the web and mobile, we’ve decided that we need to embrace that change and go with it. So on 01/0/2012 STONECOLLAR will be releasing the Online Overlord project.

What is Online Overlord?

Simply put – it’s STONECOLLAR’s new state of mind. No longer are labels or recording deals the goal. For us, it’s all about the fan. The fan is the one we write for and want to share our music with. It’s the fan who knows what they want and the ones who have a voice. And in 2012, STONECOLLAR and their fans will become a power that no one will be able to ignore. The songs have been written and recorded, artwork has been created, and on the 1 February 2012 it will begin to be unleashed.

But with Online Overlord, our mindset has changed. No longer will there be full albums. Instead the Online Overlord material will be released at set periods throughout the year as a double pack. That’s right. Times are changing and we think albums are out. Instead, a constant supply of new material is the way forward. These releases will break every quarter along with other great STONECOLLAR goods. The music of Online Overlord is powerful and a huge step forward for us and we believe each song deserves our full attention to get it out there. These songs will live and breathe and come into its own.
