Making The Video

Well, we’ve recorded a few new tracks and have a bunch more coming your way. But first we need your help.

As you know, we’re playing on the mainstage at Rock The River’s New Years Eve Festival, so we came up with a cool idea for a music video. We’d love to capture all the madness and partying that’ll be going on during the show, but obviously that’s impossible from our side, so we need you guys and girls to lend a hand.

Basically take your camera or cellphone, or whatever it is that you use to film video, and go down to the mainstage at 8pm where we’ll be doing our thing. Then just start filming clips of you and your mates rocking out and partying. Film yourselves, film others, film STONECOLLAR on stage… film whatever you want really. And then send it to us at info@stonecollar.co.za.

Some tips:
1. Try and keep your clips short and to under 5 minutes. Rather take lots of smaller clips than long ones.
2. You can also use YouSendIt.com to send the files very easily, and without blocking up email servers.
3. For the best chance of being in the final edit of the video, go crazy and have fun. Film yourselves and others partying. Get crowd shots, stage shots, performance shots of us playing on stage. And especially listen out for when we announce the new song, ‘The Final Hour’… as that is the main one.
